The #BerkleeAnywhere concert series features Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee students performing virtually, from wherever they are in the world. We may be separated by distance, but music empowers us to unite.
This will be the final episode of the #BerkleeAnywhere Concert Series, which first premiered in April 2020. We would like to thank everyone for following us for this past year and a half, and we invite you to join us for this special concert as we conclude the series.
Stay tuned for a new video series launching this fall.
About the Artist
Mom Rock is a hard-hitting, upbeat rock band based in Boston. Members Curtis Heimburger (vocals/acoustic guitar), Josh Polack (vocals/electric guitar), and Wilson Reardon (drums) bonded in their first year studying at Berklee in 2018 over a mutual love for Weezer. The band later rounded out their lineup by adding Tara Maggiulli (vocals/bass), who met Josh on a School of Rock AllStars tour in high school. Their sound is inspired by bands such as Cage the Elephant, Bleachers, and Catfish and the Bottlemen.
Mom Rock started making waves in 2019, now reaching over two million streams and 350,000 listeners on Spotify. In a short few years, they have gained a reputation for their electrifying performances, consisting of eclectic original songs and monochrome get-ups. They have shared the stage with the likes of Sports Team, Weakened Friends, and Adult Mom.
Mom Rock also has been featured on Berklee's YouTube and Instagram pages as well as Alternative Press and Sound of Boston, and were voted winners of the Suburban Rose Magazine Internet Indie Awards. They have earned spots at festivals including Osheaga and The Rock Boat. Keep a close eye on them for singles and an EP to be released this summer.
