Playing creative music in a duo setting can be the most challenging—and most rewarding—type of accompaniment for a pianist. In this workshop/concert, pianist Tim Ray will enlist the talent of legendary trumpeter and composer Greg Hopkins to demonstrate common (and less common) ways to approach duo performance in a wide range of styles and tempos.
