Master Class with Amal Markus
Join us for this unique clinic with leading Palestinian vocalist and actress Amal Murkus, who will share her remarkable journey as an artist and political activist, as well as the motivations and ideas behind her rich musical projects. In addition to performing, she will also explore the topic of utilizing one's own personal and historical roots as a resource for creation
Murkus will be accompanied by kanun player and Berklee student Firas Zreik. This will be an interactive master class, during which students will be invited to speak, ask questions, and perhaps even perform, if time permits.
