Berklee's annual commencement concert, performed by students and faculty, showcased arrangements of the music of rock legend Jimmy Page, jazz pianist Geri Allen, and R&B producer-singer Valerie Simpson. The Berklee Rainbow Big Band, conducted by saxophonist and faculty member Tia Fuller, examined the music of educator Thara Memory. Page, Allen, Simpson, and Memory all received honorary doctorates. Other performances comemorating the honorees' music included student ensembles, Stone Giant, and Planet MicroJam.
