16th Encore Gala nets $1.4m for Berklee City Music

The Bay State Banner reports that the 16th annual Encore Gala netted $1.4 million for Berklee City Music. The event featured an all-star lineup of students, and was headlined by Patty Larkin '74 and Tower of Power, and emceed by actor John Larroquette. Berklee City Music is a nonprofit education program that harnesses the energy of contemporary music to reach underserved 4th to 12th graders. Students dedicate themselves to building their musical talent, their self-confidence and, in the long run, the strength of their community.
