Course Number
MEDM-398
Description

Special Topics in Mediterranean Music sections are project-oriented classes, focusing on special topics at a depth beyond that which is possible in general classes. Topics may include the study of specific genres and styles of the Mediterranean region and the analysis, performance, composition, or production of new music inspired by the work of seminal artists, groups, traditional instruments, and culture from the Mediterranean region. Each course section, taught by a specific faculty member in a given semester, will vary in the scope and depth of coverage of its given topic area, and in the sequence and emphasis of semester projects. Students should consult the course description for the specific section and semester.
